Puerto Penasco

Last weekend, Skyler wanted to spend some quality
time with his grandparents, so Renea and I had to
leave him for a couple of days. We went to Puerto
Penasco (Rocky Point), in Mexico, with some
friends. The first night we stayed at one of the
friend's parent's vacation home. All the streets
were made of sand. The humidity was very high,
but liquid beverages helped out with that.
The following day, we drove to a resort managed by a family friend of mine. It was very nice and the humidity seemed to disappear with the beautiful scenery, including the perfect beach, which was secluded and held as many shells as there were grains of sand. Overall, I consider the short weekend jaunt a great success. The worst part was everyone fell asleep too early. I guess we're getting old!
